Another Plague of Kali Batch

Started another batch of Plague of Kali Rye IPA...

Grains bagged (I do all-grain brew-in-a-bag)... 13 pounds of crushed grains in all...

Bringing the water up to striking temperature...

My approach to conquering heat loss. It worked pretty well! After mash temp and an initial hiccup, I only lost three degrees in 40 minutes, not bad...

The iGrill thermometer plot of mash (after the dip, which is where I took the probe out to put in the grain bag). After I lost a couple degrees just after mash-in, I goosed it back up, and then the loss was minimal thereafter...

Started the boil after mash-out and sparge...

In the fermenter and off we go...
