New Brewing Sink...

My new brewing sink!!!

A restaurant scullery sink, with 24"x36" basin, and side drip surface. And a commercial-grade sprayer. The 5-gallon (20 l, 1/6 BBL) keg is there for reference.

Most of homebrewing is "washing stuff", so yes, to answer your question, it does matter, and no, it's not overkill...
